2014 MACAC Day on the Hill event is Wednesday, March 12 at the Kelly Inn and the State Capitol. Past participants have raved about the opportunity to visit Minnesota legislators and advocate for students, counselors and education.

The day will start at the Kelly Inn with a full breakfast which begins at 7:45 a.m. From 8:30-10:15, the Government Relations Committee will provide training for visits and information about MACAC’s legislative agenda. The first appointments with legislators will begin at 10:30 and end by 3:00. After your last meeting, you can join fellow members back at the Kelly Inn for a review of the day. Every attendee will make legislative visits with a group of MACAC members and share in the conversations with Senators and Representatives. 

All you need to do is register by Tuesday, February 18.  MACAC Government Relations Committee members will schedule your legislative visits and you will be given a final schedule of the day on March 12.  

The Government Relations Committee would love to have representation from all parts of the state.  Tell your friends and join us on March 12!
