What to Ask at a MEF (PDF)

What is a MEF?
MEFs are college fairs held throughout the state at high schools and other venues. They are a result of the collaborative work of MACAC, public and private postsecondary schools, and high schools. College representatives from postsecondary schools throughout the Midwest and some other states attend.

Who comes to a MEF?
Anyone interested in postsecondary education and military opportunities is welcome to attend a Minnesota Education Fair. Most high schools in Minnesota will be invited to attend a specific program based on the school's proximity to a MEF site. Prior to each MEF, the Site Coordinator will provide site-specific information to area high schools and participating postsecondary institution.

Student MEF Registration
Save time at the college fair, and register your information ahead of time! Using lead retrieval technology, you can register your personal information and create a personal barcode to be scanned at the fair by colleges that you are interested in.

Simply register at gotocollegefairs.com before you come to the MEF, print off the barcode and bring it with you to the fair.
