Minnesota National College Fair

Minneapolis Convention Center
Tuesday, September 24, 2013, 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. and 4:30-8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

The Minnesota National Fair, held each fall in Minneapolis, is one of the largest fairs of its kind and annually attracts representatives from over 350 different colleges and universities. The event also includes workshops on such topics as financial aid, writing application essays, and comparing college options. Some secondary schools arrange transportation to the fair for their students. Students and parents are welcome at any time. The National College Fair is free and open to the public.

National College Fairs are offered annually at locations throughout the country, sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and regional associations like MACAC.

Counselor Info - Register Your Students for Lead Retrieval

The 2013 Minnesota National College Fair will utilize Lead Retrieval technology. This technology allows student to create a bar code of their information that will then be scanned by colleges at the fair. Students will no longer have to fill out interest cards for each college, maximizing their time in conversation with college representatives. In order for this to run as smoothly as possible students are highly encouraged to create their bar code prior to arrival at the fair. - Students can register as individuals at http://gotocollegefairs.com. (Register by September 20)

- Schools can register all students by submitting their data online. Instructions are available by clicking this link. (Submit by September 6.)

National College Fair Volunteer Form

The National College Fair relies on the volunteer assistance to help in running the fair. Volunteer opportunities include working at the information booth, one-on-one counseling and assisting with fair set up and take down.

National College Fair Bus Information Form

The National College Fair Committee encourages schools to bus their students to the fair as an opportunity to explore postsecondary options. To ease congestion and facilitate bus parking we ask that all schools planning to bus their students provide their date and time on arrival and departure.

2013 Minneapolis Performing and Visual Arts Fair

The Performing and Visual Arts (PVA) College Fair is designed for students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate study in the areas of music, dance, theater, visual arts, graphic design, and other related disciplines.

The PVA College Fair will be held in September of 2013, check back for the exact date.
