National College Fairs
Minnesota National College Fair
Minneapolis Convention Center
The Minnesota National Fair, held each fall in Minneapolis, is one of the largest fairs of its kind and annually attracts representatives from over 350 different colleges and universities. The event also includes workshops on such topics as financial aid, writing application essays, and comparing college options. Some secondary schools arrange transportation to the fair for their students. Students and parents are welcome at any time. The National College Fair is free and open to the public.
National College Fairs are offered annually at locations throughout the country, sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and regional associations like MACAC.
Register Online Before the FairThe 2013 Minnesota National College Fair will offer students the opportunity to register their information prior to the fair and print a bar code, which then can be quickly scanned by the colleges – freeing up time for conversation and saving students the tedious work of completing individual cards for every college.
- Students can register as individuals at http://gotocollegefairs.com. (Register by September 20.)
