These MACAC members met with over 80 legislators, almost 40% of the legislature! Our message was clear: protect funding for the Minnesota State Grant program and protect resources for college counseling professionals. Our leave-behind piece for legislators, which details MACAC’s 2010 priorities, can be found here.
As you can see below, it was a meaningful and fun day! Please consider attending a future MACAC advocacy day. Registration for 2011 should begin in late 2010. Also, more pictures from this year’s Day on the Hill can be found on MACAC’s facebook page.
