At User Groups events, school counselors meet as colleagues to share experiences, ideas and advice on optimizing use of the Naviance software to support and communicate with students and parents. Open to all Minnesota Naviance users, both new and experienced. Most User Groups include presentation sessions, with a majority of the time dedicated to “hands-on” time in computer lab with mentors to assist. For events that are part of a MACAC event, we offer Naviance sessions and optional User Group Computer Lab time that requires a separate registration. Bring a laptop if you wish; lab computers also provided. Travel expenses and event registration fees reimbursed after the event, according to event guidelines. We prioritize support for counselors in schools that received Naviance through the CACG Grant, but all Minnesota school-based Naviance users are eligible to participate in the mentor program.
