Professional Development Committee

    This committee develops policy recommendations and programs that will assist in the development of college admission counseling at secondary schools and postsecondary institutions. The Professional Development Committee shall formulate policy and programs that assist the counselor in his or her personal career development, professional development and education.

    The Professional Development Chairperson shall:

     

    • Coordinate with the President-Elect all aspects of the annual conference
    • Coordinate all aspects of the Workshop for New Counselors
    • Coordinate the Winter Financial Aid Workshop in conjunction with the Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA)
    • Organize events/workshops promoting the professional development of the membership
    • Work with other MACAC committees to help promote their activities and concerns
