Naviance User Group – Middle Schools
Friday, February 19, 2010
8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon
St. Paul Public Schools Office, Lab A
1930 Como Avenue, St. Paul
This event is for counselors at schools considering or currently using Naviance with middle school students. Different from user-training, a User Group event is a “peer to peer” learning opportunity to learn tips and strategies on using Naviance from colleagues at other schools. Come share your experiences and questions, and to learn from others. Kim Oppelt from Naviance will also be present. No cost to attend. We will meet in a computer lab, but you may also bring a laptop if you wish.
Topics covered may include: surveys, journaling, career planning, 4-year plans, enrichment programs, Learning Style Inventory, and more. Specific suggestions should be emailed to Mary Hill, Co-Chair MN Naviance User Groups at mhill@spa.edu
