About Minnesota Education Fairs (MEFs) for Postsecondary Institutions
View the Fall 2010 MEF Schedule
The goal of the MEF program is to coordinate the flow of information about postsecondary educational opportunities to students in Minnesota.
Through each MEF, MACAC aims to:
- Serve the public by providing one central location for prospective students and parents to browse freely and meet with professional
staff members from postsecondary institutions. - Supplement high-school guidance programs with timely information on higher education.
- Provide admission and recruitment personnel a convenient fall travel schedule, increasing the opportunity for personal contact with more high school students.
Who comes to a MEF? Anyone interested in postsecondary education and military opportunities is welcome to attend a Minnesota Education Fair.
Most high schools in Minnesota will be invited to attend a specific program based on the school's proximity to a MEF site. Prior to each MEF, the
Site Coordinator will provide site-specific information to area high schools and participating postsecondary institution.
