Students and ParentsInformation for Students and ParentsCollege Fairs offer students and their families a free opportunity to explore multiple postsecondary options in one location. Attendees can ask questions, gather literature, learn more about familiar schools, and discover new ones. Minnesota students have three major options for college fairs which are described below. Some high schools may bus students to these fairs during daytime hours. Students are encouraged to check with their guidance office to learn more about their school's participation in the fair. High Schools listed with each MEF fair are specifically invited by the hosting institution, however all students and parents are welcome to attend any of these fairs. Minnesota Education Fairs (MEFs)MEFs are college fairs held in mid-fall and spring throughout Minnesota at high schools and other venues. They are a result of the collaborative work of MACAC, public and private postsecondary schools, and high schools. College representatives from postsecondary schools throughout the Midwest and some other states attend to share information about their educational programs with students and parents.
